Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients:

  • 3 Tbsp. Pumpkin Spice Sauce (see recipe below)

  • ¼ Cup Espresso (1 Tsp. Instant Espresso Powder + ¼ Cup Hot Water or 1 Shot of Espresso)

  • 1 Cup Milk of Choice

  • Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam (see recipe below)

  • Sprinkle of Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkin Spice Sauce

  • 1 Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • ½ Cup Pumpkin Puree

  • 2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

  • 1 Tsp. Pumpkin Spice

  • ¼ Tsp. Salt

Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam

  • 1 Tbsp. Pumpkin Spice Sauce

  • 3 Tbsp. Heavy Cream

  • 3 Tbsp. Vanilla Coffee Creamer

Instructions:

  1. For this pumpkin spice latte recipe, you’ll want to make the pumpkin spice sauce.

  2. In a mixing bowl, add the sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.

  3. Whisk this mixture until combined. You can put this sauce in an airtight jar or container and place it in your fridge until you’re ready to use it.

  4. In your coffee mug, add 3 tbsp. of the pumpkin spice sauce.

  5. Next, you’ll want to make your espresso. Brew one shot of espresso into your coffee mug over the pumpkin spice sauce. If you do not have an espresso machine, you can use instant espresso power and water! For this, add 1 tsp. of espresso powder and ¼ cup of hot water into your mug and stir until combined.

  6. Next, you’ll add the milk to the espresso mixture. If you want a hot pumpkin spice latte, then heat your milk and add it to your mug. If you want a cold pumpkin spice latte, then just add cold milk to your mug.

  7. Stir the milk and espresso until combined.

  8. Next, for this pumpkin spice latte recipe, make the pumpkin cream cold foam. Add the pumpkin spice sauce, heavy cream, and vanilla creamer to a small measuring cup, and froth with a milk frother until light and fluffy. Then, add the pumpkin cream cold foam to the top of your latte!

  9. Sprinkle a dash of pumpkin pie spice on top of your homemade pumpkin spice latte and enjoy!

This recipe makes one pumpkin spice latte, but you could always double or triple it to make enough for a few people. If you love this recipe, then be sure to check out our other coffee recipes from our Farmhouse Barista Series!
